The above is a quote from a poem written by Robert Frost entitled The Road Not Taken. The words have come back to me many times since I first read it in high school and speak to me of a journey to self-actualization. My goal as a therapist is to create a supportive and safe environment in which you can explore your emotional needs and overcome barriers that may prevent you from experiencing a more fullfilling life. Taking an eclectic approach to client wellness, I will consider, amongst other factors, your work life, family traditions, cultural and spiritual beliefs, and sexual identity in creating an effective treatment. It takes courage to travel a road that is unfamiliar. Therefore, it is my commitment to you to be a supportive and caring partner on your therapeutic journey.
